- "You are my father, right? And there's a lot of things I want to do."
- — Teddy —
Teddy's avatar is that of a tall man dressed in white and green leather. His wave symbol consists of a red tattoo on his face.
Little is known about Teddy's personality, as he only appeared for a short time. He seems to be an irresponsible but also a very persuasive person, sweet talking people in order to get what he wants. He spends money frivolously and gets into debt often, even in The World.
In the real world Teddy is the adult son of Ryo Sakuma, the player behind Bear. Bear divorced his wife when Teddy was still young, and he was raised by his mother. Because of this, he has a fairly low opinion of his father, and speaks with him only when he needs money or some sort of help from him.
Teddy contacts his father inside the game to request money to make a down payment on a new car. Bear doesn't want to spend that much money but Teddy tries to sweet talk him into it. Tsukasa interrupts their conversation which gives Bear time to think things over. Ultimately he decides not to give him the money, resulting in a fierce argument between Teddy and his father in the real world.
- Teddy's name is never said in SIGN. It was revealed by Analysis.
