Ochimusha Column is a solid card in any thunder-based deck. The To Play requirement isn't much of a sacrifice, especially early in the game when you should be focusing more on defense anyway. It has a decent strength of 4, and a useful effect. While it has no reward, its effect makes it count as two thunder-element cards, making it easier to use cards that require a lot of thunder-element spotting. Just remember that it is an effect, not a reward, and that Ochimusha Column has to be scored to be useful.
Up to 4 Ochimusha Column can be scored, but 3 should be enough to be able to spot all the Thunder elements you'll ever need.
