Neptune Medusa has no reward, but its effect lasts the entire game so long as it is scored. Its To Play requirements aren't a problem, especially if you have an excess of items in your hand. Neptune Medusa is strong with a strength of 7, so it's easy to score with. Once scored, all Earth-element monsters are destiny + 1. Since it only affects Earth-element monsters, this effect isn't exactly reliable, even in an Earth-themed deck. However, it still gives an edge, and it can potentially allow you to draw a destiny greater than 5. Up to 4 Neptune Medusa can be scored, and if such a thing occurs, you may be able to win most battles relying on destiny numbers alone.
