The powerful Mad Witch lacks a reward, but each of the earth-element monsters brought to battle through its effect gains an additional item-destruction reward, which, if used late in the game, can completely cripple the opponent's defenses depending on the number of stored earth-element monsters. The problem with Mad Witch is its play requirement, which will usually require at least one earth-element card on the field to be removed. In dedicated earth-element deck, most of the cards necessary can be supplied by the hand. In addition, the effect can be used for the purposes of Destiny manipulation, so it isn't quite as problematic as it seems.
