Green Wyrm is a strong monster that requires a large number of monsters to be in the portal in order to bring it to play. This is difficult to do against decks that target the portal, but it's normally not too unreasonable, especially when combined with effects to bring more monsters to the portal directly from the deck or from the discard pile. Note that its Reward affects both players if the revealed card is a lizard. The problem with it is that the opponent's turn is after the effect, so if it's used at the wrong time, the opponent can easily take advantage of the user's reduced defenses. Timing is very important when using this card for its Reward, but the user can always choose not to activate it and simply use Green Wyrm as a strong attack monster.
