Area Hacking is a skill acquired in the third volume of the G.U. series. It is given to Haseo by Pi in order to stop Sakaki from listening to their conversations after he took over the Raven guild. It is also useful in acquiring Cheat Codes for Cheat Alchemy and it also dispenses very rare items from time to time.
