This card prevents the opponent from avoiding the user's Wood-element monsters, thus making certain the opponent's PCs are always in danger. Although this potentially lowers scoring possibilities, players don't usually avoid unless their PC would lose the battle anyway. It's necessary if you wish to destroy the opponent's defenses early so they don't become a threat later.
